Nasza Misja
Our Mission
The Polonia Foundation in Alberta is a registered Canadian charity dedicated to supporting the cultural, educational, and charitable activities of Polish-Canadian organizations and individuals in Alberta.
We provide scholarships to students of Polish descent pursuing higher education at the University of Alberta and University of Calgary. Through our programs, we preserve and celebrate the rich heritage of Polish settlers who helped build Alberta.
As a registered charity with the Canada Revenue Agency, we maintain the highest standards of financial transparency and accountability to our donors and community.

Our History
Foundation Established
The Polonia Foundation in Alberta is established as a registered charity to support Polish-Canadian heritage and education.
First Scholarships Awarded
The Foundation begins its scholarship program, awarding grants to students of Polish descent at Alberta universities.
Hedinger Family Scholarship
The Hedinger Family Scholarship Endowment is established in memory of Jerzy, Zofia, Kasia, and Adam Hedinger.
Walter K. Mis Law Scholarship
A new scholarship is established specifically for law students, expanding our support for Polish-Canadian education.
Polish Navy Monument
The Foundation contributes to the Polish Navy Monument in Halifax, honoring WWII naval veterans.
